• The initiative jumpthegap^®(talk), promoted by Roca, took place at Fairmont Hotel Jakarta with the aim to spread knowledge about architecture and design.

• Roca, a global brand of quality and design in the development of products for the bathroom space, arrives in Indonesia with this first event.

The new edition of Roca International Design Contest jumpthegap^® has started. The registration period will be open from October 10^th until March 27^th, during which young architects and designers can show their talent by submitting innovative and sustainable concepts for the bathroom space of the future.

Within the framework of Talent Day of the Barcelona Design Week, the Disseny Hub Museum hosted on 13^th June 2018 the initiative jumpthegap^®(talk), which was attended by the national winners of different editions of Roca’s international design competition jumpthegap^®.

Within the framework of the Barcelona Design Week, we organize a meeting at the Disseny Hub in Barcelona on Wednesday, June 13^th at 5 pm.

The event will be a dialogue between the winners of previous editions and Xavier Torras, Brand & Communication Director at Roca. The award-winning designers will explain how they were able to take the leap and stand out among the hundreds of proposals to win such a prestigious competition.

They will also reflect on how design can anticipate the needs of the future, and how contests serve as platforms for promoting and exhibiting the country’s architectural and design talent. 

The poet and playwright Iraj Jannati Atai and the architect Shanar Moslehi moderated a panel discussion on 25^th of April with the winner of the seventh edition of the international design contest jumpthegap^® and the architects Hamid Nasernasir and Hamid Naserkhaki.
