The designers Gencho Goev and Josep Congost met at Roca Expo Bath Sofia March 7^th 2019 in the jumpthegap^®(talk) with the topic “Design? For Whom?”. They explored how designers can recognize and connect with their audiences. As society evolves and so does people, design has to adapt to the changes, tendencies and needs of the actual consumers, as well to their environment, taking in special consideration sustainability.

Gencho Goev, with more than 15 years of experience as a designer, is one of the most recognizable and emblematic names of the interior design in Bulgaria. The designer walk the assistants through the function and the mission of design as an ed­ucative process, in constant learning about why design should be innovative and connected to its potential audience.

Josep Congost, Design and Innovation Director at Roca also emphasized the challenge that designers have satisfying consumer's requirements and expectations about a product. The evolution of the users influences the way design is per­ceived and the challenge for designers is to have in mind all the requirements and expectations a consumer has about a solution.
