Babylon-1

Babylon is a Smart City Public Restroom, a Street lavatory and toilet in a cubicle designed for the Smart Areas of Smart Cities of the future. The cubicle is sustainable, easy to manufacture, to set and maintain whose purpose and use is clearly recognizable for people of all abilities.

The design uses natural resources to advantage: there are solar panels for electrical energy, collection tanks for rainwater and an integrated water and waste management system, plus a vertical exterior garden to enhance functions.

Smart City Public Restroom is also a source of information: thanks to the incorporated sensors data is available to Smart City officials on frequency of use, cleanliness, need of service, exterior air quality and temperature control.
