She studied Accessories Design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology in New Delhi and holds a BFA Cum Laude from the Alfred University in New York. 

She completed her graduate studies at the Rhode Island School of Design in 2007 with a keen interest in glass and digital media.

Her background in creative practice is the collaboration with traditional craft artisans in India since 1996, on research and design initiatives aimed at socio-economic empowerment.

She trained women in glass in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, supported by the American Association for University Women Educational Foundation, 2011-12 and she received the Swarovski Designer of the Future Award 2016.

Currently, she works out of India at the UAE and she is Creative Director of ChoChoMa Studios based in Dubai, a glass studio which processes focus on the development of ways to discover, access and restructure information held in a material or situation.
